Absolutely worth going there and enjoyed being alone for once during a hike in Madeira. Did the trip with my wife and 7months year old (in a carry on bag), but never try it when you’re not experienced to walk on slippery rocks or steep trails.

Some additions to make this post even more awesome; the first bridge you encounter, don’t follow it, maps.me and Osmand are a bit wrong guiding you there to the first fall. For Poço das Pulgas itself, just follow the river and don’t try to follow a path upstream. It goes to another small waterfall, but you won’t be able to reach the large fall.
