I have thoroughly enjoying reading your experiences in our forth coming trip to Madeira in 10 days. We certainly we will visiting lots of places that you have been to.-

There is 1 point I would like to make. Would it not be easier for anyone reading your travel blog to start at one point and work your away around the island as opposed to jumping back and forwards to interesting points on the Island?

Hi Fabio, Sure! Either Funchal or Calheta are great places to stay. To explore more of the west coast of Madeira you can stay in Calheta, plus it has a sandy beach. But Funchal has more options in restaurants and is very centrally located.
